Periodo Geológico: Cretácico superior 70 millones de años atrás.
Tipo: Dinosaurio, Dromaeosaurido.
Tamaño: 3.5 metros de largo y 1.75 metros de alto.
Dieta: Carnívoro,
Peso: 73 kg.
Localización: América del Norte.
Depredadores: Otros dinosaurios más grandes.
Descendientes: Ninguno, aunque esta emparentado con las aves modernas.

Los Deinonychus son uno de los depredadores más mortíferos, letales e inteligentes que hayan existido. Esta especie es desconocida para la paleontología actual ya que pertenece a estratos en los que se creía extinto, (hace 70 millones de años) es por eso que se le denomina “Deinonychus sp.” De hecho se han encontrado restos de hasta hace 65 millones de años, lo que lo convierte en el cazador más eficiente de todos los tiempos.

Acostumbran atacar en manadas de 6 a 12 individuos, para abatir presas grandes, aunque también pueden cazar en solitario cuando son batallas uno contra uno. Durante la matanza su organización es similar a la de los lobos o leones actuales siempre de forma furtiva y rapaz.

Despite them wanting to kill every human in the shopping center, even Nick Cutter himself called them beautiful creatures, and of course he's right! Your drawing shows him of nicely - good pose, anatomy and colours. ^..^
